As part of Oxford Open Doors, the Talking Threads project invites you to join us for a series of in-person and virtual events showcasing Palestinian embroidery and textiles in the collections.

All events are free of charge but you will need to book for the textile viewing sessions or the virtual event, plus pre-book for entry to the Museum.

Sessions include viewing selected Palestinian textiles from the collections; a screening of embroidery demonstrations, with embroidery kits to take away, including a chart designed by American-born Palestinian artist, Wafa Ghnaim; and a drop-in session to hear about the Palestinian History Tapestry Project and view a small selection of pieces from the tapestry.

See the website for times and booking details.
