Join the Principal John Bowers QC with his guest speaker Professor Jayne Birkby, Brasenose Tutorial Fellow in Physics and Associate Professor of Exoplanetary Science.

Jayne will be discussing her work: studying the atmospheres of worlds beyond our Solar system and the bizarre zoo of exoplanets that have been found, and asking how does Earth fit amongst them. Jayne will talk about how the telescopes are being built right now that will enable us to search for life elsewhere in the Galaxy towards the end of the 2020s.
