The ninth annual Classics and English lecture will be delivered by Dr Carla Suthren (St Catherine's College, Oxford).

This talk re-examines the performance history of Hecuba in sixteenth-century England, presenting new evidence for an early production by All Souls men, and exploring how contemporary modes of reading Euripides might translate onto the early modern stage.
