Plant-based Street Food Fair
Launching as part of Oxford Botanic Garden’s 400th anniversary celebrations, the Plant-based Street Food Fair is an inclusive community event, focusing on cuisines and cultures from around the world.
Visitors will have the opportunity to discover a diverse range of delicious plant-based food, and will learn how different cultures utilise different plants, while enjoying demonstrations, talks, music, and dance workshops delivered by the community groups themselves.
The Fair runs over two days in partnership with the East African Network, Iraqi Women Art and War, the Oxford Hindu Temple, the Ital community and the Oxford Chinese community, who will be the sole food providers for the final two days of the 400th celebrations. With ever more households discovering plant-based foods, the event will provide inspiration for people to try new ingredients, recipes, and dishes at home.
Whether you’re interested in global cuisine, cooking, plants, or just a fun day out with the family, the Plant-based Street Food Fair will be bursting with treats for food lovers.
