Picture Making in Watercolour Workshop

Onsite at the Ashmolean.

This one-day practical session will guide you through some of the ideas and elements that will help to create a successful picture, both formal and narrative.

Watercolourist John Somerscales will focus on formal considerations such as composition, format, perspective and colour harmony as well as sharing more emotive content, such as narrative, enigma and light effects.

This workshop will suit those who have painted in watercolour before.

All materials will be provided.
