With Mika Ninagawa, Photographer and Film Director, and Dr Lena Fritsch, Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Ashmolean Museum.

In this special talk hosted by the Daiwa Foundation, Mika Ninagawa will talk about her art, from her iconic photographs of cherry blossoms and goldfish, to her recent ‘Utsurundesu’ series and portraits of Japanese Paralympics athletes. The talk will also explore how she has adapted her artwork and creative activities during the pandemic.

The event is supported and hosted by the Daiwa Foundation, and is in connection with the Ashmolean's upcoming exhibition Tokyo: Art and Photography – a celebration of Tokyo, one of the world's most creative, dynamic and fascinating cities.
