Anyone with an interest in local history in Oxfordshire or Community History in general is very welcome at our panel discussion, ‘Making History Here: Community History in Oxfordshire’.

The panel discussion, exploring the experiences of historians working in and on Oxford and Oxfordshire, starts as 5.30pm but is preceded with an optional walking tour at 4pm highlighting the ‘Forgotten Stories of Oxford', led by community historian and creative artist, Rawz.

We invite anyone interested in historical studies to join us for a rich, engaging discussion focused on history in our own community.

The walking tour starts at the History Faculty, circulating round key sites in the city centre, before returning to the building. Refreshments and snacks will then be served in the Faculty Common Room. PLEASE NOTE: There are only 20 spaces available on the ‘Forgotten Stories of Oxford' walking tour, so book ASAP via the Eventbrite page.

Walking tour: 4-5pm
Refreshments & snacks: 5-5.30pm
Panel discussion and Q&A: 5.30-7pm
