Horn Recital: Zoë Tweed
We are delighted to welcome Zoë Tweed to perform a horn recital at The New Space, alongside pianist Mark Rogers. Both musicians are generously supported by the Countess of Munster Musical Trust.
Programme includes Astor Piazzolla's Ave Maria, movements from Robert Schumann's Kinderszenen, Charles Koechlin's Horn Sonata, and much more.
Zoë was awarded her first trial at 20 years old with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra for their Principal Horn position, and became the youngest member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in December 2023. Zoë has recorded music for film and TV, and performed instrumentals on albums by artists such as Alison Sudol and Cody Fry. In 2024, Zoë joined the brass faculty at the Royal College of Music as a horn professor.
