Holocaust Memorial: Harris Manchester College

The college will be holding a Holocaust Memorial Event at 5.45pm on Wednesday 25 January. There will be readings, music and time for reflection. The college choir will sing Mark Miller’s setting of words written on the wall of a concentration camp, I believe, and the college’s own Christina Burjan (viola) will perform the first of Joseph Joachim’s Jewish Melodies Op 9 for viola and piano alongside organ scholar Alastair Stone. The event will last for about 40 minutes and will be held in the chapel.
