High-Level Side Event at the UN General Assembly: "Envisioning a More Equitable Future: Using Multidimensional Poverty Indices as a Policy Tool"

On behalf of the Multidimensional Poverty Peer Network (MPPN)
This event will convene global leaders with a demonstrated commitment to address the inequality challenges and multidimensional effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the lives of people living in multidimensional poverty. It will introduce innovative uses of MPIs as a policy tools during the crisis to envision a more equitable future. It will finally make a collective call for collaboration to turn the corner on poverty during this challenging phase for economic recovery, by creatively redefining policies that are implemented aiming to reduce poverty in all its dimensions.
