Hedge-Laying Course
Join our expert arborists to discover the traditional art of hedge-laying in the stunning setting of the Arboretum. Hedgerows host a diversity of flora and fauna, providing a network of wilderness in which to feed, breed and thrive. The thickly-woven branches of a well-laid hedge offers a habitat for insects, birds and small mammals. During this workshop, you will get hands-on experience and by the end of the session you’ll be equipped with all the knowledge and skills required to lay your own hedge. Please bring a packed lunch.
