Join us at the Arboretum as we go in search of fascinating fungi. Learn more about the incredible variety of fungi native to our countryside and gardens, and about the crucial role they play in the ecosystem.

There will be a talk by Professor Richard Fortey at 13:15 before the walk begins at 14:00.

FREE for Friends of Oxford Botanic Garden & Arboretum and annual pass holders, members of FSO (Fungus Survey of Oxfordshire), and members of the Ashmolean Natural History Society of Oxfordshire (ANHSO). This event is also free with your Arboretum entry ticket; you may book your ticket in advance here but this is not required.

Please note that this is not a foraging event; we are not collecting fungi to take away and ask visitors to leave fungi for others to enjoy. UK Fungus Day is an annual celebration run by the British Mycological Society. This event is free with your Arboretum entry ticket; you may book your ticket in advance but this is not required.
