Frankland Visitor 2023: Jo Baring in conversation with Melanie Gerlis

Jo Baring, a Brasenose College alumna and the Frankland Visitor 2023, will be in conversation with guest speaker, Melanie Gerlis.

Jo Baring is Director of the Ingram Collection of Modern British and Contemporary Art and former Director of Christie’s. She publishes widely on 20th century and contemporary art and is a regular speaker at institutions, art fairs and galleries. Her book Revisiting Modern British Art was called a ‘gamechanger’ and most recently she edited the monograph on Royal Academician Hughie O’Donoghue.

Melanie Gerlis is Art market columnist at the Financial Times, Editor at large at The Art Newspaper, and author of Art as an investment? (2014) and The Art Fair Story (2021).
