Join science-based artist and creative specialist, Dr Lizzie Burns, for two hours of immersive creativity through origami.

Discover the art of paper folding in bringing complete focus and calm; find astonishing transformation as pieces of paper become 3D sculptures of animals in your hands.

Dr Lizzie Burns has written about origami as a tool for self-care and relaxation for healthcare workers in the British Medical Journal. Join us with this opportunity to enjoy two hours to unwind and get lost in folding in support of wellbeing.

Lizzie will teach a selection of animals featured in the medieval tales of ‘Reynard the Fox’ from Europe, starting with a fox.

While famously from Japan, origami is also documented from the Middle Ages in Europe through napkin folding.

Discover something new, and find out what is possible with so little using paper. No experience needed. A workshop for adults. All folds to be taken home!

Book with the workshop ‘Tricksters and Treasures’ and write pieces to include within your origami folds for an immersive day of creativity!
