Join the Festival of Archaeology family day to take part in a range of free, engaging tours and activities across the Museum.

This year's festival is part of the Ashmolean's Myth and Reality season, linked to our Labyrinth exhibition, which centres on the famous archaeological site, Knossos.

Take part in a range of free, engaging tours and activities across the Museum to explore and imagine the past.

During the day you’ll be able to paint your own fresco, listen to storytelling, have a go at digging like an archaeologist and more.

This event is part of the UK's annual Festival of Archaeology which focuses on the theme of ‘Archaeology and Creativity’, with UK events taking place from 15-30 July 2023.
