With Kyle Lewis Jordan, Curating for Change Fellow at the Ashmolean Museum & Pitt Rivers Museum

Join this engaging talk to unravel the significance of representations of disability and difference from both Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia in the Ashmolean’s collections.

Curating for Change is a ground-breaking project funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Arts Council England and the Arts Fund which exists to create strong career pathways for d/Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent curators within the heritage sector, where they are seriously under-represented.

This event marks the start of Disability History Month from 16 Nov - 16 Dec 2023. Look out for more displays and more digital content at the Ashmolean and the Pitt Rivers Museum.
