Join Dr Sarah Edwards for a unique and beautiful perspective on plants and their roles in the lives of people from across the planet. Step into the UK's oldest botanic garden and embrace the magic of Halloween within its ancient walls. Discover spellbinding stories, including herbs that heal (or poison!) and other exotic plants used by people around the world. There will be opportunity to purchase a signed copy of Sarah's book The Ethnobotanical: A world tour of indigenous plant knowledge at the end of the tour.

Dr Sarah Edwards is the Plant Records Officer at the University of Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum. She also teaches Ethnobiology and Biological Conservation at the Institute of Human Sciences, and Ethnobotany to Anthropology students at the University of Oxford. Additionally, she is an Honorary Research Fellow at the UCL School of Pharmacy and serves on the Board of the British Herbal Medicine Association.
