Three sessions: Sun 29 Jan, Sun 12 Mar and Sun 21 May (10.30am-4pm).

The medieval world took the signs of the zodiac very seriously indeed, believing that they truly ruled the destiny of mankind in everything from health to character.

In this practical course of sessions, you'll be guided how to embroider your own medieval star sign, the medieval way.

You can choose your sign and either work with naturally-dyed wools in the style of the Bayeux tapestry, or create a more intricate piece in silk and gold opus anglicanum. You can even tackle an entire zodiac man if you prefer!

The sessions are suitable for all skill levels.

The course sessions will take place onsite at the Ashmolean Museum.

Booking is essential and tickets are £250 for the three days. Concessions are £230.
