David Isaac in conversation with Baroness Valerie Amos
Valerie Amos is the Master of University College Oxford. She is a member of the House of Lords and has held an impressive number of roles including International Development Secretary, the United Nations under-secretary for Humanitarian Affairs, and the CEO of the former Equal Opportunities Commission. Before coming to Oxford Valerie was Director of the School of Oriental and African Studies in the University of London. The Queen recently made her a Lady Companion of the Order of the Garter, the first person of colour to be appointed to the Order.
