Culling is one of the biggest ethical questions in conservation. Should we ever kill one species to save another?

Hugh Warwick is an author and ecologist. His latest book, Cull of the Wild, explores some of the philosophical and ecological considerations at play when it comes to culling animals. Hear Hugh speak about culling practices and how we can do better in future.

Part of the Oxford Mammal Group's winter lecture series.

Free to members of the Oxford Mammal group. £3 for non-members (payable at door).

About the Speaker:
Hugh Warwick is an author and ecologist with a particular passion for hedgehogs. While he has written three books about hedgehogs, is the spokesperson for the British Hedgehog Preservation Society and helps run the Hedgehog Street Campaign, he stresses there is more to his life than these prickly mammals!
