Oxford University Gazette
The University Gazette, which has been published continuously since 1870, is the authorised journal of record of the University of Oxford. The Gazette is published weekly throughout the academic year except during vacations.

Publication dates and deadlines
The Gazette is published on Thursdays during term. The usual deadline for submitting copy for each issue is noon on Wednesday of the week before publication (ie eight days before publication).

*The 24 September issue is limited to Council/Congregation business and changes to examination regulations.
The Gazette has now ceased publication for Trinity term.
The final Gazette of Trinity term has been published on 23 July.
The first Gazette of Michaelmas term will be published on 24 September and will be restricted to Council and Congregation business and changes to Examination Regulations. The first full Gazette of Michaelmas term will be published on 1 October; the termly lecture supplement will be published with the 8 October issue, and the deadline for lecture/seminar information to be published in the supplement is noon on 30 September.
Oxford Open Doors
Oxford's Open Doors weekend, run by Oxford Preservation Trust in partnership with the University of Oxford, will take place this year on 12 and 13 September. This year's theme is Books, Libraries and Printing. Volunteer stewards are also needed for the weekend. For further information see notice in this week's Gazette.
