Degree Ceremony dates

Booking a degree ceremony before July 2013

If you have completed or are due to complete your studies before Trinity Term 2013, please contact your College to book your degree ceremony. They will be able to advise you as to which days are available to you. Please be aware that ceremonies usually become fully booked several months in advance of the ceremony date.

2012 Ceremonies

      * The degree days marked with an asterisk are additional ceremonies and places will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.  If you wish to attend on one of the additional days, please contact your College to see if they are participating.

      Booking a degree ceremony from July 2013 onwards

      Taught course students due to complete in Trinity Term 2013 and thereafter will receive an email invitation at the start of their final year with information about booking a degree ceremony.

      Research students granted leave to supplicate from 12 December 2012 will receive an email invitation with information about booking a degree ceremony.  Research students granted leave to supplicate before 12 December 2012 will need to contact their College to book a degree ceremony.

      It is expected that a proportion of the invited students will not take up their place to graduate in person, these spaces will be available to students who have not  had their degree(s) conferred and candidates for the MA. Please be aware that there may be very few places available and it is highly recommended to have your degree conferred before July 2013 if possible.  If you would still like to graduate after July 2013, please contact your College who will advise you as to which ceremonies they are attending and place you on a waiting list for your preferred degree ceremony.

      If you are unable to graduate on a Saturday or Friday afternoon for reasons of religion or belief, please contact your college office to discuss the possibility of graduating on a Friday morning.
