Undergraduate year abroad fees

Some undergraduate courses include a compulsory or optional year abroad. The fee for the year abroad is determined by the following factors: whether your year abroad is compulsory or optional, the year you started your course, the duration of time spent abroad, and your fee status.

The programmes of study which include a compulsory or optional year abroad are listed below. If you are not sure whether your year abroad is compulsory or optional, you should contact your department or college.

For any other questions about your fee liability whilst studying abroad, please contact the Student Fees and Funding team at student.fees@admin.ox.ac.uk to verify your fee liability.  If your fee status is Home or EU and you are unsure about your UK government support entitlement during the year in which you are completing a period of study abroad, please contact the Student Fees and Funding team at student.funding@admin.ox.ac.uk for further guidance.
