Attend an undergraduate Open Day or make your own visit to Oxford

Our 2026 undergraduate Open Days will be held on 1 and 2 July and 18 September. More information will be available on our website from early 2026.

In the meantime, you can get a sense of what the Open Days are like by viewing the timetables for the September 2025 events, including college and department timetables, and watching the video below.

You are very welcome to come and visit at another time. College grounds are usually open to prospective applicants but you can also get in touch with the college linked to your region and let them know you are coming.

You may also be able to attend an event listed in our outreach calendar while you're here. Subject departments are not open to visitors except on Open Days or for specific outreach events.

Some college accommodation is available for potential applicants travelling longer distances.

College timetables

Our colleges are at the heart of student life at Oxford so make sure you visit a good handful whilst you are here. However, do check first they offer the course(s) you are interested in! As well as taking a tour, you will be able to have your questions answered first hand by current students and tutors.

Department timetables

Choosing your course is the most important decision you need to make and our Open Days offer a rare opportunity to visit departments and meet tutors and current students, so we recommend prioritising these events.

Open Day information centre

Colleges and departments are the best places to find out about studying at Oxford but if you’ve still got questions, or if the event you planned to attend is full, then please come to the Open Day Information Centre in the High Street, where you will find staff from the undergraduate admissions team and student services available all day.

If time permits during the Open Day, why not visit some of our iconic museums and libraries and be inspired! Or find out how to explore the University's Sports Centre and Language Centre.
