About
Dr David Howard studies the contemporary societies of the Caribbean and Latin America, with a focus on urban geography and sustainable development. His interests lie at the interface between social and urban geography, and postcolonial and development studies. Recent research projects have concentrated on healthy urbanism, development and security in Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and the French Caribbean.
