Ashmolean Museum

The Ashmolean Museum houses the University’s extensive collections of art and antiquities, ranging back over four millennia. The basement café offers light lunches, snacks and drinks, while the Rooftop Restaurant is open for lunch, dinner, cocktails and afternoon tea, with regular jazz nights.

Oxford University Museum of Natural History

The University Museum of Natural History is the largest natural history museum outside London. Its café offers hot drinks, snacks and sandwiches on the mezzanine overlooking the main exhibition hall.

Weston Library

The Bodleian Libraries' Weston Library houses regular free public exhibitions, and its café offers hot drinks, snacks and sandwiches in the setting of Blackwell Hall.

University Parks

The University Parks consist of around 70 acres of beautiful parkland, bordering on the River Cherwell, including sports areas, a duck pond and a large collection of plants and trees in landscaped surroundings. In the summer, you can visit a refreshment stand run by local sandwich shop Jimbob's Baguettes, selling snacks and drinks.

University Church of St Mary the Virgin

The University Church has a long and varied history and offers excellent panoramic views of the city. The Vaults Cafe serves organic food, coffee and snacks.
