St Edmund Hall
Welcome to St Edmund Hall, or as we’re usually known: Teddy Hall!
St Edmund Hall is a friendly and encouraging college where we welcome students of all sorts from a wide range of backgrounds. Find out more below and on our website about why we have the second highest student satisfaction rate among Oxford Colleges, our generous financial support, and fantastic extracurricular opportunities.
Why Teddy Hall?
Teddy Hall is a supportive community of around 420 undergraduates, located in the heart of Oxford. We have over 800 years of experience teaching students, and today this is coupled with a modern approach to learning and extra-curricular life that allows our students to achieve highly in a wide variety of fields and enjoy their time here. We are known across the University for the large crowds that turn out to support our sports teams, our friendly choir, our unique masterclass awards, and for the way in which we support each other.

Meet our students
Hear from students across many of our subjects in this video playlist. They share their experiences of applying to Oxford, studying their course, and life at St Edmund Hall.
We wish we could welcome you to Teddy Hall and show you around in person, but until that’s possible again we’ve put together this virtual tour to give you a flavour of our site, facilities, and atmosphere.
