The Europaeum gives a small bursary to support a University of Oxford graduate student to pursue a programme of study at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva, during the forthcoming academic year.
|Duration:||At least three weeks|
|Fee status:||Home/EU and Overseas|
|Level of study:||Graduate|
|Year of study:||All years|
|Subject:||Appropriate programmes of study can include periods of specialist library or archive work, supervisions with desired tutors, taught programmes including specialist summer schools, or fieldwork, including work with organisations based in and around Geneva. Research and study themes should normally be on themes that reflect the concerns, past, present and future, of Europe.|
Successful candidates are expected to be self-directed, and will need to negotiate their own study arrangements. Bursary holders are normally expected to arrange their study visit to Geneva so that at least two weeks overlap with the normal semesters of the Graduate Institute.
Please note that successful candidates are normally expected to take their awards during the academic year period, rather than vacation.
Students will be responsible for their own accommodation in Geneva.
Further information, including the application form is available from Europaeum Secretariat.
