For this year’s annual Black History Month Lecture we are pleased to welcome Professor Ann Phoenix as our speaker. Professor Phoenix is a distinguished psychologist and academic whose impressive range of research includes psycho-social issues related to identity, migration, masculinity, racism, ethnicity, sex and parenthood. She is Professor of Psycho-social Studies at the Institute of Education, University College London. The Black History Month Lecture is being organised by the University’s BME Staff Network with support from the Equality and Diversity Unit.
