This website provides information about UniForum, the project which benchmarks administrative and support services across research-intensive universities.
The UniForum project, which has been developed by Cubane Consulting, is helping us to understand how we resource the administrative services that support the teaching and research activities of the University.
Oxford piloted the project from October 2015 to April 2016. Informed by the pilot, a full collection programme ran from May to October 2016 to reflect activity during 2015/16. A Service Effectiveness Survey ran in November 2016; its findings are part of the way in which we will assess the quality of service delivered by different administrative functions.
All member institutions follow the same methodology when participating in UniForum. Nine universities from the Russell Group took part in 2015 and six more joined in 2016 (including Oxford).
