Vice-Chancellor’s Public Engagement with Research awards

Are you involved with public engagement with research? The University has launched a new awards scheme to recognise and reward researchers who undertake high-quality public engagement or who have contributed to building capacity in this area.

There are three categories for nominations:

  • Projects
  • Building capacity
  • Early career researcher

Entrants can be at any level in their career, and activities of any scale are welcome.

The winning entries will receive recognition for their achievements at the awards ceremony, hosted by the Vice-Chancellor, which is taking place on 1 July. One overall winner will be announced at the ceremony and will receive a cash prize of £1,500.

Further details and entry forms are available here. The closing date for entries is 5pm on 16 May 2016.
