If I was going to describe Opportunity Oxford in one sentence, I'd say it's university starting early with all the bits that aren't usually explained, explained to students. I would say it's a structured first, like, trial run at your first few weeks at uni. If I could describe OppOx in a sentence, I think it would just be training camp for the real thing. I'd say that I think this programme is absolutely invaluable for giving that boost to students who have a lot of potential that just need that little little bit of extra support to absolutely make sure that they can do their best. And I think that it will really put students on the front foot when they come in October. They'll know where key things are, they'll know where the libraries are, they might know some Tutors or some people at their college and they have that support network in place. And I think that, particularly when the students do come back in October, they will really see the benefits of that. It just gives you that sort of dry run, that practice run to manage competing deadlines, manage workload, but also just come into contact with people that you're going to be at Oxford with and kind of, outside of that school environment. If you're unclear about anything, just ask we're here to help you, we're here to teach you and, and, and get you through the first few weeks until you find your feet. I guess it was kind of an opportunity to get to know the city, my department and a few of the students. Everyone coming to university would benefit from some kind of bridging programme, so absolutely don't hesitate to get that extra little advantage. in
