Giving researchers a voice

We know that research staff can often feel like their voices aren’t being heard. OxRSS is working across the University to make sure that research staff are visible and proactive in influencing decisions that affect them. By being an integral part of various University committees and working groups, we will ensure that the voices of research staff are heard at the highest levels within the University.

Divisional contacts

Some aspects of being a researcher may be specific to your subject area; it is also a challenge for us to keep on top of what’s going on across such a large University. With this in mind we’ve set up a network of Divisional Contacts who you can get in touch with to share ideas, talk about any issues you’re having, and to ask for information for yourself or your department - find your contact in the links on the right.

Departmental research staff groups

Many departments have their own groups for research staff, which range from informal occasional coffee mornings to formal representative committees. To see what’s going on in your department, see our list of departmental research staff groups. Please let us know if yours is missing!
