The Brand & Design Office promotes the work and activities of the collegiate University through a range of creative services for print. Whatever the format, print communications provide you with an opportunity to increase awareness of and generate support for the University. From planning and photography through to design and distribution, the Brand & Design Office is here to offer help and advice on all aspects of production.
We are responsible for producing the University’s key print materials, including the Annual Review, Gazette, Blueprint and the University Calendar, the Undergraduate and Graduate Prospectuses, as well as the University’s alumni magazine, Oxford Today. Most of these are also available online, but if you would like paper copies please contact the office.
The Brand & Design Office has created a toolkit to help and advise staff on how to use the University’s brand mark. The toolkit allows you to download graphics and templates, and gives advice on usage of the brand.
The toolkit also offers a range of useful information including a style guide, information on design and photography and a checklist for print production. We are continually increasing the information on this site, so it is useful to check for updates. Also, if there are items you would like us to add, please contact us.
Design and print-buying
The Design Studio, based in the Brand & Design Office, provides a professional design and print-buying service for members of the collegiate University. Whether it is a poster, leaflet, newsletter or brochure, we aim to deliver a creative, clear and cost-effective solution to your communication requirements.
Oxford University Images is an online image library that provides easy access to more than 15,000 images of the collegiate University. Images are available to departments and colleges at a heavily discounted rate compared to commercial providers. The new service provides a significant advance in ease and speed of use, and the library will be updated with new images on a regular basis.
