St Hilda's College archives contain many reminiscences of College life including letters written by Ethel ("Margot") Collinson, who studied Modern History at St Hilda's 1917-20 and for a Diploma in Education 1920-21.

Margot's letters, predominantly written to her parents, give a fascinating insight into College life during WW1.

By kind permission of Margot's family, extracts from the letters will be read by award-winning actor, and another St Hilda's alumna, Katherine Parkinson.
