International migration can be a massive, multi-layered and mind-bending subject, so the REMINDER Project - which is run from Oxford University’s Centre on Migration, Policy and Society - will compress everything you need to know about EU migration into a set of six minute presentations. Academics will cut the waffle and race against the clock to share their innovative and exciting research.

We hear a lot about the impacts of migration in the EU, but what are the real costs and benefits? How do the impacts of the free movement of EU citizens differ from the impacts of people coming to Europe from outside the EU, and are the impacts the same for all EU member states? On top of this, why are political and media debates about migration, and public attitudes towards it, so different in different EU member states? All of these questions, and many more, will be answered by the (probably panicking) team as they charge valiantly through 20 images that explain their project, each of which will only be displayed for a maximum of 20 seconds.

The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.
