Public Engagement with Research: what the funders want

A lunchtime seminar for academics and researchers at all career levels, as well as professional services staff.

Hear directly from the funders (Research Councils UK, The Wellcome Trust and Research Councils) on their expectations with regard to Public Engagement with Research, why Public Engagement with Research is valued, and ways to access funds for public engagement as part of research grants.

The session will be chaired by Professor Sarah Whatmore, the University’s Academic Champion for Public Engagement with Research.
