Join us for the Department for Continuing Education's Annual Public Lecture in Sustainable Urban Development, in association with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), held in London.

This year Professor Yvonne Rydin, Chair of Planning Environment and Public Policy at The Bartlett School of Planning, will speak to the title: Planning for sustainability? The role of evidence in regulating major wind energy infrastructure

Drawing on research into the planning regime for regulating major infrastructure, this lecture will consider how evidence on environmental and other impacts enters into decision-making on major offshore wind farms. The lessons of this research also addresses broader questions on how planning regulation works and how it can deliver on sustainability.

All are welcome to attend this free event.
