This workshop will explore the secrets which bookbindings reveal about the uses and histories of medieval manuscripts. Join Matthew Holford, Tolkien Curator of Medieval Manuscripts at the Bodleian Library, and Andrew Honey, a Bodleian book conservator, to learn more and to discover how the techniques of medieval bookbinding inform current conservation at the Bodleian Libraries.
