The AfOx insaka is a platform to share ideas and knowledge about Africa-focused research with speakers from diverse disciplines. As we all adjust to new ways of working, sharing and connecting, AfOx has shifted its regular insakas online.
This insaka will feature two speakers from diverse backgrounds:
1) Dr Isaiah Nengo, Director, Research and Science, Turkana Basin Institute, Stony Brook University: Why should Africans care about palaeontology?
2) Prof Alison Lewis, Dean, Faculty of Engineering & the Built Environment, University of Cape Town: Leaders, Followers or Spectators: African Research Universities and the Future
Participants are encouraged to send in their questions via the YouTube chat box.
