Oxford’s planning and response

The University and colleges intend to be open and operational in the 2020/21 academic year, albeit with significant changes to the way teaching is delivered, research is undertaken, and activities take place. We are fully committed to delivering an outstanding academic experience to our students, to maintaining our focus on personalised teaching, and to the support and well-being of our entire community.

The University is working across several working groups to plan and coordinate our approaches over the coming months. The University will continue to reopen in careful, sequential phases, taking a risk-based approach, and will communicate with the Oxford community in advance of each phase. Current areas of planning include:

Michaelmas term 2020

Return to on-site working (RTOSW)

> Return to on-site working: guidance for staff

Staffing strategies
