Temporary Oxford University vaccination centres

Last updated 16 July 2021

The COVID-19 vaccination centres at the University Club, Ewert House and Iffley Road Sports Centre have now all closed.

The centres were set up as part of a drive to increase vaccination levels in those yet to be vaccinated, amid a rise in cases of COVID-19 driven by the delta variant.

The walk-in vaccination clinics were run by the NHS and supported by the University, and we are very grateful to everyone involved. Thank you to all of our staff who provided operational support, including building provision and management and queue stewarding, and worked so effectively in partnership with NHS staff.

The centres were open from 23 June to 16 July, and gave a total of 3,820 vaccinations.

Information about other walk-in vaccine clinics in Oxfordshire can be found on the Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group website or you can book a vaccination appointment online via the NHS system.

Further vaccine information for students

A range of vaccine information is already available on the student health page of the University coronavirus website – including for UK and international students who may need to get their second dose elsewhere.
