This is a residential event for year 12 students attending state schools in our link areas of Somerset, Devon & Cornwall.
The purpose of this event is to support students in preparing to apply to Oxford, and it will include advice about course choice, UCAS applications, personal statements, admissions tests, and interviews. It will also give students an opportunity to experience life in an Oxford college and meet our students, tutors and admissions staff.
The residential runs from Monday lunchtime to Tuesday lunchtime and all events, meals and overnight accommodation during the residential are offered free of charge. Due to kind donations from Oxford University’s Cornish alumni, we are also able to reimburse travel expenses of up to £80 to students from Cornwall.
For further details, and to apply for a place on the residential, see our website. Applications close on Friday 25th May.
Should attendees wish to stay on to attend the University Open Days on Wednesday 27 June, we are also able to offer another night’s accommodation free of charge. See booking details here
