Girls doing physics and maths! Do you want to stretch your skills? Do you want to tackle new physics problems in a welcoming and supportive environment? Do you want to boost your physics confidence?

Join our online Physics Club: Girls Solving Problems. We're going to hold weekly interactive webinars in the autumn, aimed primarily at students who are studying physics and maths in Y13. However, if you're in Y12 or on a gap year and you fancy stretching yourself with a bit of extra physics, you're also welcome to sign up. You can register here: https://oxford.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/physics-club-girls-solving-problems-summer-2022. The deadline to sign up is Thursday 15th September 2022.

The workshops will be on Wednesday evenings, 17:00 – 18:00, via Zoom. The first workshop will be on Weds 21st Sept, and they’ll run until 9th November. Once you have registered, you will be sent details of how to join online.

Physics Club is open to any female or non-binary students who go to a state-funded school or college in Camden or the East of England (Bedford, Cambridgeshire, Central Bedfordshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Luton, Norfolk, Peterborough, Southend-on-Sea, Suffolk and Thurrock). It is a programme from the Oxford for East England consortium (https://www.ox.ac.uk/oxfordforEE).

It’s completely free to take part, and all of the workshops will be online. If you miss a week, we can send you a recording to catch up. The club would particularly suit anyone who is considering studying physics, engineering, maths or material science at university, but anyone who fancies having a go is more than welcome.
