Oxplore Book Club with Kiran Millwood Hargrave

Best-selling author, Kiran Millwood Hargrave, will be our special guest for Oxplore Book Club in May. The Girl of Ink & Stars was Kiran's debut novel, and the striking fantasy tale about a mapmaker's daughter on a quest to save her island, captured reader's imaginations and won heaps of awards. We hope you love this book as much as we do!

During the event, Kiran will be talking about the inspiration behind The Girl of Ink & Stars. There will also be an extended Q&A, which will be your opportunity to share your thoughts on the book and learn more about the characters, themes and process of writing.

Taking Part
Oxplore Book Club is designed as a super-curricular activity for young people aged 11-14. Participation is free and the only technical requirements are internet access and a free Zoom account.
