Oxplore Book Club with Alexandra Sheppard

We're so excited that YA author, Alexandra Sheppard, will be joining us to talk about her debut novel Oh My Gods. For those who haven't read the book, the story centres on Helen Thomas, a teenager with an unusual family. While her dad might be embarassing and her older siblings are a pain, Helen must also contend with the fact that her family are really incognito ancient Greek Gods!

During the event, Alexandra will be talking about the inspiration behind Oh My Gods. There will also be an extended Q&A, which which gives students the chance to share their thoughts on the book and learn more about the characters, themes and process of writing.

Taking Part
Oxplore Book Club is designed as a super-curricular activity for young people aged 11-14. Participation is free and the only technical requirements are internet access and a Zoom account.
