Atomic and Laser Physics Open Day
Atomic and Laser Physics (ALP) is holding an Open Day for prospective DPhil applicants on Wednesday 4 December 2019. This will be an opportunity to meet supervisors, visit the labs and meet the teams of talented young scientists who are currently researching the interaction of light and matter.
The day will begin with poster presentations and lab tours from 12:00, followed by a sandwich lunch, a brief introduction from the ALP Director of Graduate Studies, and talks from different research groups. A drinks reception will follow from 15:30 which will provide another opportunity to meet with supervisors, their research groups and more lab tours.
