The food choices we make have consequences for animals, for humans, and for the climate of our planet. We should not be indifferent to those consequences, so living ethically involves eating ethically. Peter Singer will explore what we ought to be eating, and not eating, and why.

Professor Singer will host a formal dinner at Balliol Hall in the evening, discussing his association with the college, developments in animal liberation and ethical food over the past forty years, and the implications today.
