About the Day

The UAS Conference consists of five breakout sessions. You have a choice of attending a 60-minute workshop or up to two 25-minute presentations in each breakout session, with the exception of breakout session 3 which comprises only 25-minute presentations. Plus:

• A range of information stands are available to browse throughout the day.
• During the lunch period, a number of activity sessions will be taking place. Places are limited and available on a first-come first-served basis on the day.
• The Oxford Bluebelles (aka Laёtitia, Jo and Liz of the Public Affairs Directorate and Alumni Relations Office) and their team of cake-bakers are back by popular demand! This year they are raising money for the charity Future Hope, which supports street children with housing, education, and medical care in Kolkata, India.
• For lunch, a range of sandwiches, salads and snacks will be available to purchase in the North School. Indicate your intention to purchase lunch at the conference as part of your registration and receive a discount voucher for 30p off any meal deal.
• WIFI access will be available throughout the day in the North School for those who wish to bring their own laptops/tablets with them.
• A book swap will be available throughout the day in room 13. Drop off your unwanted books and pick up some new reading material.
• The Bike Doctor will be on site throughout the day. Register to book in your bike for repair and service and drop off prior to attending your first session. Drop-off and collection details will be emailed to you nearer to the event.
