Breakout Sessions

The first event in the UAS Conference Series 2013/14, taking place on Tuesday 1 October 2013 at the Examination Schools, consists of five breakout sessions. With the exception of breakout session 3, you have a choice of attending a 60-minute or up to two 25-minute presentations in each breakout period.

From admissions to career destinations, service usage to satisfaction ratings, we are all increasingly being asked to present detailed numerical data in reports and presentations. This session will explain how to select data to present, how to represent it on a slide or on paper, and how to communicate it in a presentation. |

Life as a College Registrar |

Both presenters are, or have recently been, College Registrars and during the presentation they will talk about what a College Registrar (or other similarly named jobs, this is Oxford after all!) does. They will also talk more generally about what it’s like to work in a college (highs and lows) and help you think about how working in a college can play an important part in your professional development as a university administrator at Oxford. |
